WolfMarket — Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Draft pending legal review. These terms were prepared to describe how the service actually works and to pass through the data-licence obligations WolfMarket is bound by. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and should be before the service takes payment.

1. Who we are and what this covers

WolfMarket ("we", "the service") is operated by Freebranch LLC. These terms govern your use of the WolfMarket website, customer portal, dashboard, and API. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service provides

WolfMarket aggregates publicly published market, economic, and company data from primary sources (statistical agencies, central banks, regulators, and intergovernmental organisations), normalises it, and makes it available through a dashboard and a JSON API.

WolfMarket does not provide exchange market data. We do not carry equity, bond, or futures prices, quotes, or any exchange-licensed feed. Nothing in the service is a real-time or tradable price.

3. Accounts, API keys, and security

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

5. Acceptable use

6. Data licences — obligations that pass through to you

This section is a condition of use, not a courtesy. WolfMarket only carries data it is permitted to redistribute, and several of those licences require that the same obligations flow to you and to anyone you pass the data to. By using the service you agree to honour them.

6.1 Attribution

Every data response includes an attribution array naming each source present in that result and the exact notice it requires. You must display those notices wherever you publish, display, or redistribute the data, and you must not remove or obscure them.

6.2 Source-specific conditions

6.3 Derived and normalised data

Some series are derived (for example a unit value computed from a published value and quantity) or normalised across sources. These are labelled as such. You are responsible for reading the series metadata before relying on a figure.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and the data fresh, but during the current phase we do not offer a contractual uptime or freshness service level. Data is collected from third-party sources on their publication schedules; if a source is late, revises, or withdraws data, the service reflects that.

8. Accuracy and disclaimers

The data is provided "as is". We normalise and check what we collect, but we do not originate the underlying statistics and cannot guarantee that they are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Original sources revise their data, sometimes substantially.

Nothing in the service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a financial decision. You are responsible for validating any figure before acting on it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or use that threatens the integrity of the service. You may close your account at any time from the portal. On termination your right to access the data ends; obligations in section 6 continue to apply to data you have already received and still hold or publish.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account or announced in the portal. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
